Are you thinking about booking a reservation at the Texas White House Bed & Breakfast? If so, then you should seriously consider visiting the Fort Worth Cultural District while you’re in town. The district is chock full of local color, and it will really give you a sense of what Fort Worth is all about. Here are just a few of our favorite attractions located in the Fort Worth Cultural District.
Will Rogers Memorial Center
This 85-acre public entertainment, sports, and livestock complex always seems to have something going on. It was named after American writer Will Rogers, and it is the home of the annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Check the center’s schedule to see what will be going on when you’re in town!
Christian Arts Museum
Back in the 1950s, wax sculptor Katherine Stubergh created a life-size depiction of Leonardo da Vinci’s epic “The Last Supper” painting. The depiction is now housed inside this museum as a permanent exhibit. There are plenty of paintings and sculpture that you will want to check out at the Christian Arts Museum if you enjoy looking at beautiful, historic artwork.
Do you want to get out and stretch your legs during your trip to Fort Worth? This park is the perfect place to get some fresh air. It’s located next to the Trinity River and is close to the Fort Worth Zoo. It features a miniature train, a duck pond and more, offering visitors a great place to unwind. It even features a fishing pier if you feel like doing some angling while you’re in town.
