A few months ago I informed everyone that The Texas White House was in a new ghost book by Brian Righi called “Supernatural Texas.” Brian saw the post and wrote me back that our bed and breakfast received an entire chapter in another of his books, “The Ghosts of Fort Worth.” There are plenty of places in Fort Worth to find stories of ghosts and plenty of people interested in learning about them; so, I hope those of you who are interested will pick up this new book and also check out Brian Righi’s web site. Since we don’t have a copy of this book, the first couple who makes a reservation to stay with us and brings us a hardback, fairly new copy of “The Ghosts of Fort Worth” will receive a discount off your room rate or a gift from us in return for the book. However, you must let us know in advance of your stay so we can have your gift ready. Just call The Texas White House (817-923-3597) to reserve your stay in our Lone Star room. After all, wouldn’t a ghost lover want to stay with the ghost?!!

Storyteller Visits The Texas White House
December 2nd, 2009 by Grover McMains
A former ghost storyteller from Galveston came to Fort Worth to stay at our bed and breakfast. So what, you’re thinking! But here’s “the rest of the story!” She and her husband booked the Lone Star room, our haunted room, without knowing it was haunted. The storyteller walked into the room and immediately sensed a presence there. Inside that room, there is a recently published book, “Ghosts in the Guest Room” by Olyve Abbott. As they were looking around the room at the various antiques, she noticed the book and recognized it. You see, she’s in it! As Sherlock Holmes used to say, “Fate laughs at coincidence.”
Fort Worth Bed & Breakfast Ghosts
November 10th, 2009 by Grover McMains
The Texas White House has been the home to a friendly ghost or presence for sometime now, and a few of the people who have stayed in the Lone Star room know this first-hand. For the rest of you we now have a video which details a study recently completed by Fort Worth Paranormal.

Check out their results, take a look at the haunted Lone Star room and then come stay in our bed and breakfast to see if you experience the presence, too. By the way, for those of you who are not particularly interested in ghosts, our B&B has four other rooms where you can stay without experiencing anything paranormal.
